Diamond Packaging, a global leader specializing in developing innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, is currently recruiting a 1st and 2nd Shift Sheeter Assistant to join our team.

Primary responsibility is reviewing job tickets for specifications and any customer or Diamond special instructions. Follows all standard operating procedures relevant to job, position and department. Stages rolls behind back stand of sheeter as per production requirements. Removes roll tags and supplier information and records on the sheeter log. Cuts strapping on rolls and removes wrappings. Stacks strapping and wrappings on waste skid. Knocks out roll plugs and loads roll on back stand.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have high school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, job tickets, and procedural manuals.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must have basic computer skills-computer inputs.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and understanding of printing process.
• Must have Clamp Truck and Forklift certification.
• Must be able to maintain good attendance.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
