Policy/Underwriting Insurance Knowledge

• Experience from the Policy/Underwriting side in prior implementations.
• Experience with implementations using Guidewire s SBT (Standards Based Templates) Line of Business strongly preferred.
• Some prerequisite knowledge of one of more of the following commercial LOBs:

• Commercial Auto, General Liability, Inland Marine, Excess, Commercial Property or Workers Comp.
• Commercial insurance experience is preferred but personal lines experience is also acceptable.

• Prior PolicyCenter Business Analyst implementations.
• PolicyCenter implementation experience including but not limited to:
  • Product model experience
    • Defining requirements for coverages, conditions and exclusions
    • Business rules and validations.
    • Underwriting issues.
  • Defining requirements for Policy forms inference
  • Policy forms data mapping experience or experience working with a Document Production Support vendor.
    • Preference for SmartCOMM but other examples include GhostDraft, OpenText etc.
  • Policy Rating knowledge
    • Experience defining rating requirements using PolicyCenter.
    • PolicyCenter specific rating algorithms, rate tables.
  • Integration experience from a BA perspective a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience of an implementation that uses Advanced.
  • Product Designer (APD)
  • Current on Business Analyst PolicyCenter certifications up to Innsbruck.
