**Shopper Marketing Manager**

at LOLA New York, NY LOLA is looking for a talented Shopper Marketing Manager to join our retail sales team!

*Location* *:* *This is a full-time position based in NYC. Our team is currently working remotely with eventual plans to return to the office on a hybrid basis (two days per week and as needed for in-person creative review).*

This individual will report to LOLAs VP of Retail and will be responsible for driving the growth of our brand through the development of key market and retail programs in the Food, Drug, and Mass channels. In partnership with the retail sales team, this position will liaise directly with cross-functional leadership to develop our national shopper marketing plans and strategy utilizing key shopper data, affinities, and insights to develop and implement customized support plans meeting the needs of our channels and retailers.

**What youll do:**

* Own the execution of Shopper Marketing initiatives to achieve Shopper and Commercial targets across all retailers and retail channels (regional/national/omni).

* Own the relationships and management of display agencies.

* Collaborate, engage with, and build buy-in between cross-functional teams (marketing, creative, sales, finance, and operations) by creating and sharing vision, strategy, and the path for execution on SM initiatives.

* Plan and oversee execution of retailer focused promotional activities including print, sampling, trade show, point-of-purchase displays, and signage.

* Collaborate with the Retail Sales team to develop integrated trade and marketing calendars for key retailers, channels, and regions - driving volume, brand equity, and innovation.

* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key customers: both internal and external stakeholders, including regular collaboration with brokers and third party display partners.

* Operate as the primary liaison with the Media and Creative teams on broader brand moments and activations.

* Collaborate to develop digital retail media strategies that align with promotional activities across national and regional retailers (within guardrails and alignment to trade budget & activity).

* Utilize shopper and retailer profiles to develop programs that are effectively targeted and support the national brand campaigns and objectives - share results focused analysis and learnings with internal key stakeholders.

* Utilize all available data sources to provide program analysis against KPIs in order to make future business recommendations and optimizations.

* Develop and manage annual Shopper Marketing budget maximizing return on investment.

* Keep a pulse on the evolving marketing space and suggest marketing innovations for the retail channels.

**Who you are:**

* 4 years of recent experience in CPG Shopper Marketing either in-house or at a shopper marketing agency (preferred if within the Health & Beauty / Personal Care space).

* Direct experience working with FDM retailers (i.e. Walmart, Kroger, Walgreens, Meijer, HEB, etc. ).

* Shopper marketing knowledge base including omni, digital, in-store, promotional tactics, creative best-practices, process flow, execution, and fulfillment processes and how they work together.

* Experience with analyzing retailer POS and syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen).

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.

* Strong planning, budgetary and project management competencies.

* Ability to create business building relationships that enable the development of mutually beneficial solutions to meet the needs of the customer, shoppers, and LOLA.

* A creative problem solver with the ability to manage across functions.

* Independent, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities while also pivoting when needed.
