Job Description

**Position Overview:**

The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of our locations in Kennesaw and East Cobb. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The General Manager will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing patient satisfaction, and driving business growth.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Leadership and Staff Management:**

- Direct, supervise, and evaluate the work activities of the staff in both locations.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations

- Recruit and onboard new employees, ensuring they align with our company culture and standards.

2. **Operational Management:**

- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient clinic processes.

- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Manage inventory and ensure that all required equipment and supplies are available.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and organizational standards.

3. **Patient Care and Satisfaction:**

- Ensure the highest level of care and service is provided to all patients.

- Address and resolve patient complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

- Monitor patient feedback and implement improvements to enhance patient experience.

4. **Financial Management:**

- Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and financial reports.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies to achieve financial targets.

- Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities for revenue growth.

5. **Marketing and Community Engagement:**

- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones.

- Represent Classic Vision Care at community events and build relationships with local businesses and organizations.

- Oversee social media and online presence to enhance brand visibility.

6. **Strategic Planning and Business Development:**

- Identify opportunities for expanding services and enhancing the patient experience.

- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and improve competitive positioning.

- Collaborate with the executive team to set short-term and long-term goals for growth and development.

7. **Technology and Innovation:**

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in eye care and vision technologies.

- Implement new technologies and processes to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.

- Ensure all tech and equipment are properly maintained and updated.

Qualifications

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

- 5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong understanding of financial principles and budget management.

- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

- Problem-solving skills with a focus on patient-centered care.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with practice management software is a plus.
