We are recruiting for an Inventory Associate for our client is a leading provider of quality hardwood products. They pride themselves on maintaining the highest standards of inventory accuracy to support their sales team and ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Summary: The Inventory Associate is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory across various branches. This position supports our sales team by promptly addressing inventory issues, conducting stock checks, and assisting with order pulling processes. Additionally, this role involves significant interaction with our Epicor system and Excel for inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and physical inventory support.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Conduct cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory in Sherwood and other branches.

- Perform daily inventory reconciliation using Epicor reports and Excel.

- Update mapping discrepancies as identified.

- Review and correct negative quantity RIS in Epicor.

- Add new SKUs as needed and assist with FSC and Bank audits.

- Investigate and address inventory discrepancies to improve processes.

- Complete month-end duties to finalize inventory records.

- Process purchase orders for in-house millwork and lumber.

- Provide inventory support and perform stock checks for sales and branch personnel.

- Support sales and purchasing with common carrier freight shipments.

- Track inbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.

- Assist with physical inventories at branch locations as needed.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

- Follow up on daily short ship issues and update inventory in Epicor.

- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and provide summary reports to management.

- Assist with month-end inventory finalization.

- Review inventory discrepancies to recommend and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Epicor and Excel is required.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to conduct thorough inventory reconciliations and cycle counts.

- Excellent communication skills to interact with sales and branch personnel.

- Experience in inventory management or a similar role is preferred.

- Ability to assist with physical inventories at various branch locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
