Independence Rising is hiring multiple direct service staff positions for the Kyle L. Britt Transitional Youth Community, located in Maxwell, Nebraska. The Community is licensed as an emergency youth shelter and will serve youth on a short-term basis. Youth may be state wards through foster care, youth that are in the probation system, youth receiving Lifespan Respite services, private pay youth, as well as youth referred and accepted from other approved sources.

Direct service workers provide care directly to the youth. Staff in these positions are Transitional Living Community Facilitators (TLC facilitators). The age range of youth that will reside at the shelter are 7-19 years, this age range is in order to help sibling groups stay together. The Community can house up to 8 youth at a time.

We are currently hiring for the following shifts:

• Overnight shifts (10- or 12-hour shifts, weekend or every other weekend availability needed).

Daytime hours are currently NOT available.
