This position is on our Surface Mount circuit board assembly line where small electronic components are assembled on to printed circuit boards using automated machines.

You will be setting up and operating various machines (stencil printing machine, pick and place machine, reflow oven) and inspecting parts before and after each operation, and adjusting machines as issues arise.

These machines have a computerized control panel but we will show the basics and eventually you will learn more advanced steps. These processes require a sharp eye for detail to ensure that the stencil paste gets applied properly and the tiny components are properly placed. If you normally wear reading glasses, bring 'em with you. All of this requires some technical skill, but we will train the right person.

Qualifications

• Good vision for working with small parts is a must!
• Must be able to stand and walk between machines during the shift
• Enthusiasm for learning skills related to Advanced Electronics Manufacturing
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• At least 18 years of age
