Job Summary:
Tom's Ford, a renowned auto dealership in Keyport, New Jersey, is currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual for the position of Service Advisor Assistant. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry that offers competitive salary and benefits. As a Service Advisor Assistant, you will work closely with the Service Advisor to ensure efficient and satisfactory service for our customers. You will be responsible for assisting with administrative tasks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a professional and organized service department.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule service appointments and follow-up with customers to confirm appointments
  • Prepare and maintain service department records and reports
  • Communicate with technicians and parts department to ensure timely completion of services
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining an efficient and orderly service department
  • Provide timely updates and communicate with customers regarding service timelines and costs
  • Handle customer complaints and questions in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Upsell additional services to customers based on manufacturer recommendations
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure excellent customer service at all times
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use dealership software.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
