**Description**
Trivantage LLC, a Glen Raven, Inc. company, is the premier global marketer and provider of goods and services to fabricators and consumers of shade solution and value-added products. We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor at our Miami, FL Distribution Center.
Responsibilities include:
* Customer Service
Ship each order complete each day as received
Ship each order in a professional package, free from unnecessary or inappropriate markings, and with the appropriate paperwork (packing slip, labeling, etc.)
Re-stock returns in a timely manner, ensuring returned materials are properly packaged for re-sale
* Inventory
Manage the daily flow of truck shipment and will-call pickups, as required
Receive replenishment inventory on a timely basis
- Account for all shipments and reconcile with freight bills
- Mark damaged or missing freight on freight bills
- Ensure that truck drivers follow the dock safety plan
- Ensure that stock on the floor is stored and managed in a safe manner
Move received inventory into the appropriate warehouse locations in a timely manner
Ensure that all warehouse physical locations are clean and well labeled
Ensure that inventory is accounted for by participating and/or supervising cycle counts
* Safety Focus
Conduct weekly safety meetings with the warehouse staff; coordinate topics with site management
Proactively seek out unsafe practices or situations in the warehouse, formulate a plan to resolve and implement
Coach any staff member in safety procedure and practices on an as needed basis
Supervise housekeeping in the warehouse to provide a clean and safe environment
* Supervisory
Ensure that the warehouse team is adequately staffed, managed and trained
Manage WH staff schedule (shifts)
Review and approve or deny warehouse staff requests for time-off
Participate in warehouse staff performance evaluations or reprimands
Resolve co-worker issues or work with management to resolve staff issues in a timely, fair and consistent manner

Address your concerns and problems with the site management to formulate positive outcomes
Develop and maintain effective interpersonal skills
Stay abreast of new developments in the Sterling WMS system
Use the Sterling system on a daily basis to effectively manage warehouse tasks

Participate in projects and specialty assignments

Maintain or improve verbal and written communication skills
Inform site management of any and all conditions and/or situations that negatively affect warehouse operations

Ensure security of the physical plant by monitoring/executing open-close procedures.
Keep physical plant clean and in good operational condition
Keep and execute all safety checklists and inspections as required
Maintain all equipment and tools. Make repairs and replacements as needed with management approval
