EAGLE COUNTY GOVERNMENT is Hiring a Quality Assurance Lead Specialist- Human Services Near Eagle, CO

Hiring Range: $29.33-$35.19. The maximum pay for this position is $41.06.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. Eligible for hybrid (remote/in-office) work schedule after 6 month training period.

The Eagle County Department of Human Services is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead Specialist to play a vital role in safeguarding program integrity.

From helping families and individuals access programs that put food on the table, warm their homes, and find childcare to protecting those too young or too old to protect themselves, DHS is the team of people who ensure families and individuals in our community have what they need to live a stable life now and in the future.
Integrated Support Services (a division within the Department of Human Services) is responsible for fiscal well-being and oversight for the department. QA and Fraud falls in this division supporting the mandated internal quality checks and investigating tips forsuspected public assistance fraud.
The Quality Assurance Lead Specialist ensures the accuracy and compliance of client benefit programs in the Department of Human Services. This involves reviewing case files, identifying trends and training needs, and communicating with leadership about program challenges and best practices. You will also direct the work of a Fraud Prevention/QA Specialist.

In this role, you will:
  • Review client benefit programs to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct audits to identify trends and best practices, and ensure program effectiveness.
  • Provide technical assistance to program staff and develop training materials.
  • Analyze data and reports , identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to address client needs and program challenges.
You are a great fit if you have:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of rules and regulations for various department programs, including but not limited to:
    • IV-E, Food Assistance, Medical Assistance, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Adult Financial, Long Term Care, Claims, Medicare Savings Program, Low Income Child Care and Child Support Enforcement Intake.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience that satisfies the requirements of the job may be sufficient.
