Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
- Manage the general ledger and perform monthly reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Stay up-to-date on technical accounting standards and changes in regulations
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes to identify areas for improvement
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and governmental accounting principles
- Proficiency in technical accounting concepts and practices
- Experience with account reconciliation and financial analysis
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and procedures
- Solid understanding of corporate accounting principles
- Ability to use accounting software effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
