Position: Warehouse Manager

Job Description:

The warehouse manager is responsible for the efficient operation of Goigi’s warehousing and receiving operations. This individual will supervise the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team, while ensuring that the warehouse is clean, organized, and adequately stocked. This individual will also be responsible for inventory control, cycle counts, and cycle ordering. The warehouse manager will report to the Operations Manager.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise the activities of Goigi’s warehouse team, including but not limited to picking, packing, receiving, storage, and shipping.

• Oversee the setup and tear down of new warehousing equipment.
• Ensure that Savannah, GA’s warehousing areas are fully stocked and have sufficient supplies for the daily workload.
• Prepare and inventory incoming shipments.
• Prepare and inventory outgoing shipments.
• Prepare and count incoming raw materials and finished goods shipments.
• Prepare and count outgoing raw materials and finished goods shipments.
• Prepare cycle counts for incoming shipments.
• Prepare cycle counts for outgoing shipments.
• Prepare cycle orders for incoming raw materials and finished goods shipments.
• Communicate accurately with Operations Manager regarding inventory levels in all warehousing areas.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:
Proven experience as a warehouse manager or relevant role such as forklift driver or warehouse supervisor preferred but not required.

• Strong inventory control skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with interpersonal skills such as leadership abilities to motivate team members to work together effectively in a team environment with a diverse group of people of all ages, nationalities, genders, sexual orientations, disability rights, etc..

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $20.00 per hour
