The Role

The successful candidate will be an articulate, proactive team player who loves a challenge and is driven by finding solutions. This role supports the sales team and offers the tools and knowledge to develop a career in jewelry sales. If you love to travel throughout the year, visiting and meeting clients face-to-face at trade shows and their offices, this may be the position for you.

Responsibilities

• Manages customer calls and servicing existing accounts by processing orders
• Creates proposals for client requests
• Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature
• Resolves customer issues by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
• Performs data entry for sales orders and records in SAP systems
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual analyses.
• Maintains records for customer sales
• Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with a concentration in Business, Math, Finance, Communications or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years corporate customer support experience
• Minimum 2 years proven knowledge of Microsoft Word & Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Solid math skills and advanced working knowledge of Excel including pivot tables and V-look ups
• Inbound & Outbound customer calls expertise
• Ability to multitask multiple priorities and projects at one time
• Excellent customer service and detailed follow-up skills
• ERP/SAP system experience a plus
• Ability to travel to trade shows and client visits as required and work late hours/weekends during busy season
