Job Summary

We are a small real estate investment company with a self-managed portfolio composed of multifamily and single family residential properties, focusing on a peer-based employment model. We offer ongoing coaching in property and business management, marketing, and real estate investment. You will work in cooperation with the property management team overseeing the properties in the company’s private portfolio. This includes leasing, managing, creating notices, maintaining Landlord Tenant Law and Fair Housing compliance, and working on various projects regarding the sale and acquisition of properties to further our expansion purposes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities for Property Manager:

  • Property oversight designed to increase income, maintain resident retention and increase value
  • Lead/and or assist in on-site management of a total of 122 units in Gresham, OR
  • Lead/and or assist in on-site management of other properties in Vancouver, WA, Portland, OR, and Milwaukie, OR upon request.
  • Draft and review legal notices, contracts, correspondence and other documents
  • Review various financial reports to make sure accounts are up-to-date and accurate
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Act as a representative of the company and maintain professional appearance and demeanor
  • Marketing for the property
  • Assist in on site management activities, including various types of property inspections and interaction with tenants and prospects.
  • Project management (i.e. property improvements, creating operational procedures, securing contractors, etc.) as assigned

Qualifications and Skills of Property Manager:

  • Minimum of two years experience in property management required as well as experience in any related field (including but not limited to: real estate, banking, loans, business management, legal, escrow, etc.)
  • Any additional education in business management or other areas relatable to business preferred
  • Excellent English language skills and writing abilities (minimum typing speed of 40 wpm)
  • Excellent computer and cell phone skills (Required)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs (Required)
  • Experience in Excel and/or Google Sheets (Required)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in AppFolio or other property management software helpful.
  • Good math skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Able to traverse stairs freely at a normal pace
  • Able to walk at least 3 to 5 miles per day (tours and inspections of property)
  • Applicant must have a current, valid driver license, fully insured, reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record for the past three years
  • Background and credit checks are required for this position
  • Some flexibility in hours may be occasionally required (including evenings and weekends)
