Director of Nursing position in Oregon - Upscale Senior Care Community South of Portland

Knightcare Management is currently searching for a Director of Nursing ( DON / DNS ) for a reputable, high-end Senior Care community located just South of Portland. The Director of Nursing needs to possess the leadership ability to manage the Nursing department, while ensuring that the best possible care and services are provided for the residents. Must have a demonstrated history of excellent survey results, good tenure, a hospitality mindset, as well as a customer service focused approach to care. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of OR with a current license, and have at least 3 years of experience working in geriatrics as a DON, ADON, RCM or Unit Supervisor. Previous Director of Nursing experience in a SNF or Assisted Living community is preferred.

Job Type:Full-time

Required experience: 3 years as a supervisor or manager in a geriatric setting, as well as 2 year as a DON / DNS in a Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing setting strongly preferred.

Required education, license or certification: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Registered Nurse for the State of OR required.
