Vegandale Festival is North America's fastest growing vegan festival! Now entering our eighth festival season, the festival that has dominated Chicago, New York, Miami, and LA is coming back to Chicago!

The Chicago Vegandale Festival is currently seeking highly motivated and energetic bartenders and barbacks to assist with a variety of festival tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Service
• Customer Service: Provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to all festival attendees.
• Bar Operations: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the festival.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines. Verify the age of customers to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Bar Manager and other staff members to ensure smooth operations. Support team members by assisting with tasks as needed to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Must be Illinois BASSET Certified
• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of bar operations and beverage preparation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with vegan products is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and hold any required alcohol service certifications/licenses.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in an outdoor environment,

Compensation:

• $20/hour plus tip share

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

• Weekends as needed
