Eisen Supply Technologies is Hiring a Material Handler Near Lansing, MI
Material Handler for auto parts manufacturer. This position is located in Lansing, MI. Details for the position are as follows:
Pay Range: $17/hr
Contract: 1 year with possible extension or conversion
Hours: M-F 9am-4pm shift
Job Description:
- Responsible for raw material and stock receipts, finished goods distribution and the coordination of material movement between warehouse and customer plants.
- Physically receive, inspect, and log materials, supplies and equipment from other business units, as well as small parcel and LTL carriers and couriers.
- Pack, store, transfer and distribute material according to specific material requirements. Requires some of the requisite skills to perform the required tasks of the position at this level.
- Pick and prepare sequencing orders according to SOPs. Perform counts and keep inventory live. May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
- Generate paperwork, schedule logistics, physically ship orders, generate ASNs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic math aptitude assessment
- 1 year of material handling experience
