We are looking for an operations manager who has previous ER critical care technician or assistant experience who understands how a veterinary hospital operates.

Position requirements.

• Minimum 3 years in a veterinary management or operations role.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with budgeting and scheduling for a veterinary hospital.
• Have a working knowledge of all hospital operations.
• Experience with regulatory compliance with VMB, AAHA, DEA, Cal OSHA, and CDPH

Responsibilities of the job

• Improving Operations, measured by patient care and staff safety metrics
• Management, budgeting, and scheduling
• Supervisory responsibilities
• Work closely with our Leadership Team to assist with their duties
• Draft policies and various documents as directed by hospital management
• Support management in building the Referring Veterinarian Network and maintaining relationships with referring practices
• Assist in recruiting and screening applicants
• Communication with employees to assist management in supporting the needs of the team.
