Job Overview
This is a Part -time position, and is located in our St. Louis office.
We are a security company that operates 24/7/365. The ideal candidate should have experience in a call center environment, with excellent customer service skills. This person will adapt well to a fast-paced environment where energy, enthusiasm, multi-tasking, and professionalism are required.
Position available -
1.) Part-Time Weekends and holidays 3:00pm -11:00pm.
Reports To
Central Station Manager and Assistant Manager
Responsibilities and duties
· Operate a multi-line telephone console system.
· Translate information to the appropriate codes.
· Determine and assign the level of priority of the call and enter the data into a computer-aided dispatch system for radio dispatch purposes.
· Receive and respond to a variety of emergency and non-emergency services and complaints.
· Dispatch and coordinate the responses of public safety agencies.
· Monitor and respond to a variety of technical systems and alarms.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Excellent customer service skills required.
· Emergency call center or dispatch experience required.
· Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and very organized.
· Strong desire to help people and solve challenging problems.
· Able to work under pressure.
· Experience managing multiple phone lines as an operator, customer service representative, or telephone salesperson.
