**Overview:**

are a family seeking a fun, active, and responsible part-time Babysitter & Activity Coordinator for our 8-year-old son. Our family values a nurturing and structured environment where learning and fun go hand-in-hand. We are looking for someone who can engage with our son, make activities enjoyable, and is willing to drive to various activities and outdoor spaces.

The role involves helping with homework (elementary school level), meal preparation (e.g., healthy snacks or simple meals), light cleaning, and organization. The Babysitter will also need to pick up or drop off our son at school or activities occasionally, so reliable transportation and a clean driving record are essential.

The weekly schedule will be determined during training, but we require someone with a flexible approach to working hours. This position is based in our home, and we need someone who can be adaptable and supportive as needed.

A background check will be performed as part of the hiring process.

**Duties:**

- Childcare, including engaging in fun and educational activities

- Homework assistance (e.g., reading, math)

- Light housework and meal preparation (e.g., healthy snacks, simple meals)

- Running occasional errands as needed (reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required)

- Coordinating and supervising playdates and outdoor activities in safe environment.

- Collaborate with parents to understand their children's needs and preferences.

**Qualifications:**

- Active and energetic, with a background in sports, outdoor activities, or structured play preferred.

- Patient, fun demeanor with strong communication skills.

- Knowledge of child development and learning theories.

- Ability to work independently without direct supervision with ease.

- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

- Discretion and confidentiality are crucial.

- Experience in planning and leading activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
