JOB DESCRIPTION:

ASSISTANT OFFICE ADMIN – NACOGDOCHES BRANCH

Hours of Work – 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary

The Assistant Office Admin will support the Office Administration team at the R&K Distributors facility in Nacogdoches, Texas. The Admin will report directly to the Office and Branch Managers. Due to the collaborative nature of this role, any potential candidate for the Assistant Office Admin position will need to have the ability to work with others in a positive manner and be willing to be a team player.

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls in a timely manner with a friendly voice and assist the caller as needed.
  • Take informative messages, if required, and follow up to make sure messages are delivered to the correct person.
  • Invoice any merchandise that is sold to customers out of the display case.
  • Check up drivers efficiently and correctly in a timely manner and file their invoices.
  • Assist management with any data entry, forms or letters that may be needed or any filing that may need to be done.
  • Make copies of all incoming bills and send them to Longview in a timely manner.
  • Assist call-in customers, managers, salesmen, merchandisers, or drivers with Hot Shots.
  • Order and inventory uniforms. Keep uniform closet neat and clean.
  • Monitor and stock restroom supplies as needed.
  • Monitor, stock, and order coffee supplies and water.
  • Monitor the copy machine/printer and call for service when needed.

These are just some of the responsibilities for the Office Administrative Assistant.

Experience and Skillset

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to learn new technological platforms and software.
  • Ability to work with co-workers in a positive way.
  • 5 years’ experience in an office environment or a Business Administration degree
  • Beverage business experience is preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $750.00 - $825.00 per week
