Tank Services is seeking candidates for an apprenticeship program for Industrial Blaster/Coating Application Specialists. Candidates will learn and gain experience with surface preparation including but not limited to abrasive blasting and the application of protective coatings in an industrial field environment.

Tank Services has delivered industrial and commercial tank and pipe coating applications and cathodic protection services to customers in the mid-west, mid-Atlantic and mid-south regions since 1974. We have provided these services to oil and gas producers, midstream companies, natural gas transmission and distribution companies and municipal water authorities.

Responsibilities associated with the position include the following:

• Demonstrate the ability and interest in safely executing all work, providing a high quality work product and completing the work productively.
• Good communication skills to communicate effectively and appropriately with customer representatives, on site inspectors, other contractors/vendors and Company employees.
• Thorough knowledge of and commitment to Company safety policies and working safely every day.

Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

• Must possess a valid driving license and a clean driving record.
• Must submit to preemployment and random drug testing.
• Overnight travel is required.
• High School Education, GED, vocational training or equivalent experience.
