Job Overview

We are looking for a full-time Operations Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day tasks during the construction process. This role will be responsible for assisting with pre-construction needs as well as ensuring all necessary information is accurate during the construction process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with filing construction loans for new project submittals
  • Assist with obtaining documentation needed for project submittals (plot plans, septic, zoning, utilities, etc.)
  • Prepare documentation for project submittals
  • Prepare building plans with necessary redlines per contract summary
  • Collaborate with Purchasing team to ensure that project specifications align with permit submittals and budget
  • Assist with budget review and planning spec homes per community
  • Review building plans to make changes/updates for plan improvement
  • Coordinate building plan changes with the engineer
  • Ensure all field personnel have necessary documentation in-hands and on the web portal before the start of a house
  • Communicate any price and schedule changes to the Purchasing and/or Field team

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of residential construction and the home building process is a plus
  • Experience using Hyphen/BuildPro software is a plus
  • Experience with building plans/general construction documents preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Driven and able to work independently
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
  • Problem-solving abilities with excellent follow-up
  • Must possess a professional attitude to represent the company in a positive manner
