Vaccaro's Trattoria is a family owned business that started in 1957. My name is Raphael Vaccaro. I am second generation owner of wonderful and historic culinary adventure cultivated from my immigrant parents. I am in pursuit of an assistant to help in a fast past environment and service the best clientele this industry offers. **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restaurant industry and possess strong supervisory skills to ensure smooth operations in the dining area. **Responsibilities:** - Oversee dining room operations and ensure exceptional customer service - Supervise and train dining room staff on service standards and procedures - Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery - Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and special requests - Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints promptly and professionally - Monitor inventory levels for dining supplies and place orders as needed - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations **Requirements:** - Proven experience in a restaurant or catering environment - Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively - Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and cash handling procedures - Familiarity with restaurant management software is a plus - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we invite you to apply for the Dining Room Supervisor position.
