Dental Office Receptionist:

Located in a busy Staten Island shopping mall, Ideal Smiles Dental aims to provide a modern and inviting environment to provide our patients the best possible visit and outcome. It is our mission to provide clients with the best, most advanced, and most comprehensive treatment.

Our enthusiastic office aims to add to our dental family with a dental office receptionist. On top of a family centered culture, we offer 401k. vacation as well as bonus incentives through the year.

Dental Office Receptionist Duties:

• Greet and welcome all patients in a positive and friendly manner
• Answer phone calls efficiently and answer general questions
• Schedule appointments and maintain up-to-date appointment calendars
• File and maintain records
• Update insurance information and handle some billing
• Work together with the doctors and staff to have a streamlined and focused day centered on patient well-being

Dental Office Receptionist Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience
• Familiar with medical terminology
• Previous computer skills experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Team-player attitude
• Ability to communicate in a manner to make all patients feel like family
• Active listening skills
• Knowledge of dental insurance is a plus
• Knowledge of EagleSoft software is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
