Duties:
As a Registered Nurse at Chapel Hill Oral Surgery Center, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Providing high-quality patient care
• Supervising care of patient during recovery after surgery
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to any changes promptly
• Assisting in procedures as necessary
• Educating patients on post-operative care and procedures
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care

Experience:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• At least 5 years experience in any field of nursing
• Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
• Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
• Ability to perform tasks such as assessing vital signs accurately and efficiently

Qualifications:

• Active NC nursing license
• Ability to begin work this summer
• No liabilities to license or to malpractice insurance
• Clean background check
• Exhibits excellent situational awareness of needs of surgery center
• Able to think independently and quickly recognize when to ask for assistance
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent ability to interact appropriately with patients from ages 8 onward to geriatric population
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications. PALS certification a bonus

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
