Metzcor, LLC is a family-owned, DODD-certified agency in Cincinnati, OH that provides services to individuals with disabilities outside of their homes on a community campus with a classroom-based setting.

We are seeking positive, motivated & kind individuals to join our Metzcor Family as a Part Time Driver. This is an excellent opportunity to impact and connect with adults with developmental disabilities. Each day our drivers transport our individuals, who rely on our transportation, to and from our adult day program. As our driver, you would provide our individuals with the freedom and independence of reliable and safe transportation. We're hiring immediately to fulfill the needs of our participants.

Driver Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely transport adults with developmental disabilities to and from our day program using a company transit van capable of seating up to 15 passengers, some including wheelchairs.
• Provide supervision for passengers while entering and exiting the van and during transport. Some passengers will need physical assistance to push their wheelchairs on/off of the vehicle using a foldable ramp.
• Utilize Metcor's online database to complete daily mileage logs and vehicle inspections
• During non-driving hours, other tasks may include:
• General vehicle cleaning - including washing, vacuuming, disinfecting, and trash removal
• Fueling all vehicles in the fleet as needed
• Running general errands as needed to support the day program and/or business officeTransporting individuals using a 15 passenger transit van

This position requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week (4 hours per day). These hours are completed as a split shift around 6:00 am-9:00 am and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. (Times are approximate)

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Pass a drug test
• Maintain a current driver's license and good driving record with less than 5 points.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs
• Understanding of Phone Apps for Attendance/Details
• Pass a criminal background check and all exclusion list checks as required by DODD

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour
