Operation Specialist - TGL USA Inc.

TGL USA Inc., the American subsidiary of Korea's Taewoong Logistics, seeking a talented Operation Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

As an Operation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the importation of goods by Freight Forwarding & Trucking & Warehousing, including all aspects of the logistics process such as customs clearance, carrier booking, cargo tracking, and delivery to the final destination. This role involves coordinating with various parties, including carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies, to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods.

(1) Freight Forwarding: Air / Ocean / Intermodal - Export & Import operator

(2) Trucking: OTR / Drayage Dispatcher

(3) Warehousing: Warehouse Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers as needed
• Prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
• Manage relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in Freight Forwarding is highly desirable
• Excellent mathematical skills, including the ability to perform basic calculations such as cost and rate estimation
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English and Korean is required, with knowledge of additional languages being a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in logistics software and systems preferred
