Barker Animal Hospital seeks to add a skilled Veterinary Assistant to our growing team. This is a full-time position comprised of 4-10s (Monday-Friday coverage, flexible/rotating Saturdays).

Our Veterinary Assistants play an integral role in providing excellent medical care to our patients and customer service to our clients.

Your qualifications:

• Compassionate, motivated team player

• Able to take instructions and operate independently while seeking help and support where needed

Skills and responsibilities:

• Blood draws
• Pharmacy duties and lab work
• Client communication and education
• Handling of medical records
• Administering vaccines and injections
• Microscopic evaluation
• Outpatient procedures
