Graham Engineering is Hiring an Aftermarket Executive Near York, PA

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven executive to lead our aftermarket business. This position will have full P&L responsibility for the aftermarket division and will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue and profit growth in the aftermarket segment, including parts, specific options & upgrades, and services. This role requires a strategic leader who is not afraid to “roll up their sleeves” and lead a deep dive into growth of aftermarket products and profitability through sales dynamics, integration of businesses as part of an M&A strategy, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving consistent organic and new sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive aftermarket sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
  • Lead and manage the aftermarket division including full P&L responsibility, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive strategic growth, performance and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key aftermarket customers, suppliers, and partners to expand market presence and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across all levels of the company, including Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Administration, to ensure alignment and support for aftermarket growth strategies initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements.
  • Collaborate in the development of pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and incentive programs to drive aftermarket sales and increase customer loyalty.
  • Establish and maintain effective sales and segment performance processes, tools, and metrics to track performance and drive continuous improvement and segment performance/growth.
  • Monitor and report on sales results, profitability, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all aftermarket sales activities.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the aftermarket segment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field; graduate degree in related field or MBA desired but not required.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in industrial companies with experience in aftermarket parts and services development and growth plans.
  • Proven track record of success in aftermarket leadership roles.
  • Prior experience in industrial equipment, aerospace, plastics, medical equipment, or related industrial MRO industries is desired.
  • Prior experience in merger & acquisition activities (evaluation, decision making, and integration).
  • Strong understanding of aftermarket sales dynamics, including pricing strategies, distribution channels, and customer behavior.
  • Experience of integrating businesses from a cultural / team building as well as process harmonization highly desirable
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team to achieve group and company goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and cultivate relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative sales strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and market trends and data.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools and technologies.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support sales activities.

Direct Reports:

  • 4 Managers/Directors.

Travel Required:

  • Up to 40% as in time there will be several branches in the US requiring management oversight and integration.

Dominant Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel by car, train, or plane up to 25%.
  • This position requires the incumbent to be extremely mobile to attend various meetings, assist customers and meet with individuals on the production floor as needed. (consistently)
  • Ability to reach above head, bend, squat, stoop, and twist. (intermittently)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (occasionally)
  • This position must be able to meet all PPE requirements of the facility; safety glasses, safety shoes, etc. (consistently)
  • The incumbent must be able to effectively communicate with employees at all levels within the organization. (consistently)
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include (with or without correction) close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. (consistently)
