WaterSports Central is Hiring a Sales Consultant Near Seneca, SC

OVERVIEW:

The successful candidate for the Sales Consultant position must be able to articulate and demonstrate the benefits of purchasing and servicing their boat through Watersports Central. The Sales Consultant should be able to strategically position Watersports Central in the marketplace in order to sell new and used products and promote the reputation and visibility of other Watersports Central departments, including Service, Parts and Pro-shop. The Sales Consultant will establish new business, foster long-term customer relationships, and devote themselves to overall customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

KEY TASKS:

· Apply Watersports Central’s core values and culture in every aspect of daily business.

· Establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers before and after the sale.

· Must possess a love and knowledge of the tow-boat industry as well as Wake Surfing, Wake Boarding and Water Skiing.

· Acquire an expert knowledge of the Watersports Central product line as well as accessories and pro-shop items available for purchase.

· Develop a long-term, robust sales pipeline and regularly follow up with customers and leads.

· Show inventory/products in the showroom, at off-site events, boat shows, as well confidently demonstrate boats on the water.

· Follow the Watersports Central sales process, accurately complete sales paperwork, consistently follow-up on new leads as well as with customers previously contacted to cultivate long-term, lasting relationships.

· Regularly input and maintain accurate, comprehensive customer and prospect information in the LightSpeed CRM system, and utilize that data on a consistent basis to generate sales.

· Accurately compute and quote sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance and license fee. Work with the Business Manager and GSM to communicate the requirements for financing the purchase.

· Project a professional and knowledgeable image at all times.

· Coordinate and oversee the delivery of each unit sold.

· Introduce customers to dealership management and service team to emphasize the quality and efficiency of dealership’s service capabilities.

· Actively participate in boat shows and other off-site events.

· Demonstrate and teach basic seamanship/boating skills.

· Successfully complete all required training programs.

· Other duties as directed and required.

· Achieve monthly and/or quarterly, yearly sales goals.

· Achieve total sales dollars (volume) and gross profit goals.

· Timeliness/accuracy of paperwork

· Timeliness/completeness of delivery and education.

· Consistent customer follow-up/prospecting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
