COMPUTER/NETWORK SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Reeths-Puffer Schools is seeking a mid-level technical support specialist. Candidate must be highly motivated, self-directed and be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must possess good knowledge of Microsoft networking, Google for Education, and chromebook/PC repair.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

- Provide real time hardware and software support for all staff and students

- Troubleshoot application/communication issues

- Manage user accounts, group assignments, policies, and network rights

- Diagnose and repair PC/Chromebook hardware and peripherals

- Use management platforms (Microsoft AD, GAFE, etc.) to create and deploy policies

- Oversee warranty repair services

- Prioritize, resolve and follow up on work request items

- Build tutorials and provide training for staff

- Use Configuration Manager to build and deploy images and applications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate’s degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with Microsoft networking, policies, and imaging
• Proficient in PC, laptop, chromebook, peripheral repairs
• Knowledge of IP phone systems, paging/intercom, etc., desired

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation and a valid Michigan Driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
