A&M Personnel is Hiring a Construction Superintendent Near Tucson, AZ
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory and organizational skills.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including coordinating deliveries and subcontractor work
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, including daily reports, change orders, and project photos
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Familiarity with construction estimating, schematics, and quality control processes
- Proficiency in using construction management software such as HeavyBid is preferred
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
