Job Overview:
We are seeking an office assistant to join our team to assist with Freight and Customer Service. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities to provide exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, and availability, delivery confirmation
- Process sales orders, packing lists, and invoices accurately and efficiently
-Manage e-commerce order fulfillment systems (EDI & Portals)
- Maintain customer accounts and records
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
-Freight Claims
-Rate Quoting for freight and ground orders
-Identify and resolve any payment issues that occur
-Follow up with our factory for replacement parts
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Proficiency in computer systems and data entry
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
