Responsibilities:

1. Assessment and Evaluation:

· Conduct thorough assessments of each dog's behavior and temperament.

· Develop individualized training plans based on assessment results.

2. Positive Reinforcement Training:

· Utilize positive reinforcement methods to train dogs in basic obedience commands, behavioral modification, and socialization.

· Design and implement training exercises that focus on reinforcing desired behaviors.

· Employ positive reinforcement techniques to address and modify undesirable behaviors.

3. Client Education:

· Educate adopters on positive reinforcement training principles and techniques.

· Provide guidance on reinforcing positive behaviors at home.

· Offer advice on managing and preventing behavior issues.

4. Certification and Professional Development:

· Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and positive reinforcement training methods.

· Pursue and maintain relevant certifications in positive reinforcement dog training.

Qualifications:

1. Education and Certification:

· Preferred certification in positive reinforcement dog training from a recognized organization.

· Solid understanding of canine behavior, learning theory, and positive reinforcement techniques.

2. Experience:

· Proven experience as a dog trainer using positive reinforcement methods.

· Experience working with a variety of dog breeds and temperaments.

3. Communication Skills:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate training techniques to clients.
