Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Utilize computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for specialized repairs or projects
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills to supervise contractors and coordinate maintenance activities
- Proficiency in using CMMS software to track work orders and manage maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and logic controllers
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Experience in performing facilities maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, and plumbing repairs
- Welding skills are a plus
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with staff members and address their maintenance needs
