Position Summary:

AP Medical Physics is seeking a dedicated Part-time Clinical Medical Physicist to join our team. This role offers extreme flexibility with work schedules, including weekly remote work opportunities. The successful candidate will be highly involved with special procedures such as HDR, SBRT, and SRS, and will perform daily physics duties including equipment calibration, QA, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform calibration and quality assurance of treatment equipment.

- Conduct patient-specific QA.

- Maintain regulatory requirements.

- Participate actively in special procedures including HDR, SBRT, and SRS.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals.

Equipment and Technology:

- 2 Varian linear accelerators

- Flexitron HDR

- Siemens CT simulator

- Eclipse and Oncentra treatment planning systems

- Full array of physics QA equipment

Staff Composition:

- 1 full-time medical physicist

- 1 part-time medical physicist

- 2 dosimetrists

- 5 radiation therapists

- 2 radiation oncologists

Minimum Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Physics or Medical Physics from an accredited college or university.

- Eligibility to become a board-certified physicist.
