Our small, fast paced, family based practice is quickly growing! We are searching for a few perfect additions to join our team and help us reach our goals in providing the best possible care and service to our patients and clients. Potential candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience in the veterinary field with excellent customer service and communication skills. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Pay rate determined by experience and schedule.

Responsibilities Include:

• Handling client services such as: greeting patients/clients, answering phones promptly, scheduling appointments/surgeries, processing payments, handling patient admissions/discharges and proper chart documentation.
• Knowledge of feline and canine vaccinations and preventions, laboratory tests, pharmacy medications, and disease processes.
• Obtaining patient histories and vitals, assisting veterinarian during patient exams, restraint, and preparing/dispensing medication prescribed by the doctor.
• Perform venipuncture, I.V. catheter placement, radiographs, handling/submitting laboratory specimens, and running in-house lab work.
• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, administer subcutaneous/intramuscular/intravenous injections,
• Surgical prep of patients, anesthesia and monitoring during surgery, intubation/extubations, and post-op care of patients.
• Maintain a clean working environment and restocking exam-room supplies

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
