Counter Clerk/Barista

Award-winning locally owned bakery seeking counter clerk/barista. Heavy part-time to light full-time: 25-35 hours per week.

This position requires:

• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours/shifts plus WEEKEND AVAILABILITY
• A personable and courteous demeanor, with strong customer service skills, the ability to increase pace without losing efficiency to match customer flow, and the self-sufficiency to complete cleaning and prep tasks in quiet moments.
• Proficiency in POS systems (we use the Toast POS system), and ability to handle cash transactions.
• Someone who enjoys working closely, professionally, and symbiotically with a small team of coworkers.
• Willingness and ability to complete routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, dishwashing, and restroom cleaning
• Ability to occasionally lift moderate-to-heavy items such as bus tubs of dishes and supply boxes
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is a plus.
