Role Description – Student Ministry Residents/InternsBrookwood Church is looking to hire a Girls Student Ministry Resident/Intern and a Guys Student Ministry Resident/Intern.The part time Student Resident reports to the Lead Student Pastor as part of the Brookwood Church Student Ministry. He/she positions Brookwood’s Student Ministry for maximum impact by enabling the Student Ministry staff to maintain a higher number of groups and to have another staff member present at weekly gatherings and special events to build relationships with students. The Student Resident exhibits the potential to become a full-time staff member at a future time as they fit the qualifications of a pastor and feel called to vocational ministry.

Requirements
- Minimum High School degree. In college/college degree desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Lead at least one student group – 20%
- Maintain relationships with students to create a base of students that can be discipled.
- Have regularly scheduled group meetings that incorporate an approved curriculum and follow student ministry teachings.
- Equip students to become disciple-makers capable of repeating the discipleship process.
- Support and Assist in Leading Weekly Gatherings – 40%
- Be present at Sunday and midweek gatherings/events.
- Be flexible to fill in different volunteer needs as they arise.
- Be willing to teach when asked by the Lead Student Pastor
- Support and Assist in Leading Special Events – 40%
- Be present at special events and an active participant in planning meetings for special events.
- Be prepared to lead in various areas of special events.
- Attend Weekly Student Ministry Team Meeting
- Serve as a Fantastic Teammate to Peers on the Staff Team
- Pursue and uphold relational unity with teammates
- Support teammates to facilitate department-wide wins
- Place the team agenda before your own
- Maintain conflict and confidentiality standards
