Best Daze is Hiring a Budtender Near Espanola, NM
Budtenders are the people that give our patients all the knowledge they need to consume cannabis safely. You must be willing to work evenings and weekends. Please reply with an attached Cover Letter and Resume to be considered for the position.
We are seeking an individual that understands and loves Cannabis. Must be able to educate and assist guests in compliance with all New Mexico State Regulatory Guidelines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive.
- Must be able to handle a fast paced environment
- Adhere to the Erin & Lynn Compassionate Act, Hippa and any other acts, statues or policies currently provisioned.
- Very active position which requires standing for long periods of time.
- Maintain dispensary safety and security by following safety procedures and protocols.
- Update patient information as needed.
- May create new patient files / scan and save id, state issued id, med card, registration packets and educational packets.
- Selling cannabis products and paraphernalia using POS software.
- Continuously enhance your knowledge of cannabis and current regulations.
- Back-up front desk by answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls.
- May call patients to advise them of orders ready for pick up/ check if still picking up product.
- Advise callers of all strains and THC/CBD levels for daily sales on the salesfloor.
- Advise patients on how to obtain a New Mexico Medical Marijuana Card and provide appropriate forms.
- Restock sales floor area, replenishing products.
- Assist patients with general questions and products.
- Ensure sales floor is tidy and presentable.
- Assist teammates as needed.
- Continually exhibit honesty and integrity
- Be punctual and have self-motivated
- Communicate effectively
- Duties may vary or change at anytime per Management.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior retail, cash register or dispensary-related experience a plus, knowledge of BioTrack (POS) a plus.
- Must be friendly, trustworthy, dependable, positive, hard-working and excellent with customers.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Will work Nights and Weekends.
