Brooklyn Dumpling Shop is Hiring a General Manager Near Dallas, TX
Job DescriptionSeeking an experienced fast casual restaurant manager, capable of quickly growing into a multi-unit manager. Our Deep Ellum location is the first of multiple Brooklyn Dumpling Shops scheduled for DFW, with a 2nd location tentatively scheduled for 2025.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Hire, train and maintain a high performing staff.
Manage the workforce schedules.
Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
Handle customer complaints, resolving issues in a courteous manner.
Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
Contribute to in store sales growth.
Contribute to Catering sales growth.
Manage food and beverage costs.
Manage inventory and purchases food and supplies.
Conduct daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
Evaluate restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance, schedules for service.
Maintain sales records
Prepare and submit operations reports and other documentation requested
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
5 years of restaurant management experience is required.
Successful completion of corporate training program required.
