Brummit and Associates is Hiring a Consultant Registered Dietitian Near Tulsa, OK

Brummit and Associates is looking for Licensed/Registered Dietitian to provide food and nutrition consultation to a variety of clients in Oklahoma. Areas of service include long term care, acute, and skilled nursing facilities. The job is on a contract basis; full-time and part-time positions are available; pay is based on an hourly rate. We are currently hiring in the are of Tulsa and Northeastern Oklahoma.

At Brummit and Associates, our primary goal is to provide expert nutritional care to optimize resident health and quality of life. We do more than provide minimum service to meet the minimum standards. Our success is driven by building relationships with our clients and the residents we care for.

Your Responsibilities as a Consultant Dietitian:

  • Complete routine in-facility visits on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis (dependent on facility).
  • Complete nutrition assessments, monitor weights and monitor nutrition-related care.
  • Document nutritional needs, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Assist with the development of care plans.
  • Assist in directing and evaluating the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
  • Assist in monitoring food service operations to ensure safety, sanitation and quality standards are being met.
  • Conduct meal rounds to assess conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance.
  • Provide in-service education to facility staff.

Our Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
  • Oklahoma licensure (provisionally licensed dietitians are also encouraged to apply)
  • Local/day travel is required (usually within a 100-mile radius of your current location); overnight stays expense is reimbursable and are optional with management.
  • Must be available to work primarily during regular business hours.
  • Communicate with clients and management in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be a hard worker, self-starter and able to work without close daily oversight.
  • Possess strong food safety education and knowledge of food safety and commercial kitchen operations.
  • Must have strong clinical skills.
  • Computer usage and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and EMRs are necessary.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
  • Current automobile insurance.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing & federal background screening.

Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour
