Brooklere Pharmacy Alabaster is Hiring a Compounding Pharmacy Technician Near Alabaster, AL
Brooklere Pharmacy in Alabaster is looking for a Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Under Pharmacist supervision, duties include but are not limited to receiving medication orders, measuring quantities, mixing ingredients, packaging medication, assisting patients in store and on the phone, receiving and stocking prescription drug orders, supplies, and OTC merchandise, updating patient records and inventory via pharmacy software and point of sale software.
You must also comply with all relevant safety regulations. Have knowledge of USP 795, 797, & 800. Applicants need to have a valid pharmacy technician license and experience working in a clinic or pharmacy.
Previous customer service experience required.
Previous retail pharmacy &/or hospital pharmacy experience required.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- compounding: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Alabama Pharmacy Technician license (Required)
