We are seeking Ford Certified Transmission technicians to join our growing team at Chapman Ford of Philadelphia. No experience needed, willing to train the right individual. Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift heavy objects as needed
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ambitious, hard working presence in a team environment
• Customer service oriented
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Must possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written instructions and processes

Responsibilities:

• This Technician is responsible for performing transmission repairs and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards
• Expected to perform quality work without direct or continual supervision and be able and willing to work on all other work assigned to him/her
• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnoses the cause of any malfunction and performs repairs as needed
• Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so the customers are well-informed of status of repair, change of promise times, and any additional services needed
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools and events
• Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins
