We are looking for a part-time (with the option to expand to full-time) candidate to help cover our front office desk, including registering and checking in patients, taking phone calls, scheduling, referrals, and pre-authorization work.

The Child Protection Response Center (CPRC) is a non-profit organization established to provide prevention, assessment, treatment, and referral services for abused, maltreated, and/or traumatized children and their families in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas. We offer medical exams and forensic interviews for children and dependent adults with allegations of abuse and/or neglect, and child advocate services including support for resources and referrals.

We also specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents with behavioral and mental disorders such as ADHD, ODD, aggression, anxiety, and depression.

CPRC is a non-emergent center open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. Our current staff of 5, includes 2 physicians. Due to the size of our office, everyone helps out whenever and wherever needed.

Primary Job Duties include answering phones, scheduling patients, registering and checking in patients, making referrals to outside providers, pre-authorizations, supervising waiting areas, and working within the EHR computer system.

We are not a typical office and the work we do is not that of a normal medical office. The subject matter and conditions we deal with are emotional and complex and the candidate we are looking for needs to be compassionate and caring, as well as competent and efficient. Our office is busy, with multiple services occurring simultaneously and the ideal candidate must be able to multitask.

While we are currently looking for a part-time candidate, we are open to expanding the position to full-time, as there are options for growth into other areas of the office for the right candidate.
