Job Summary:

The Outreach Manager will be responsible for all forward-facing media content produced by Choice Adoptions as well as developing and maintaining partner relationships in the community. The role will require a demonstrated excellence in blogging, email marketing, social media utilization, website management, people skill, presentation, and one-on-one interactions with our community partners. The following job description focuses on branding, marketing, and development, although an excellent candidate will be willing and able to assume other related functions as needed.

Job Tasks:

Design, Direction & Branding

Based on the benchmarks of the Executive Director, create a targeted annual marketing strategy.

Working on multiple projects at a time.

Effectively communicate to outreach team, interns, and contractors the strategy and goals for the department and deliver Choice scripts, schedules, and deliverables efficiently and on-schedule.

Graphic design for web-based and print content for our marketing materials and Choice merchandise.

Digital Outreach:

Serve as a team expert in digital analytics spanning Web, Mobile, Social, Email and Media.

Accessing and analyzing digital marketing data from a variety of analytic tools (Database, Email, Website, etc.) in order to create these customized reports and dashboards. In some cases, this data will be delivered to you.

Provide content on website, social media, and newsletter that opens the adoption conversation, provides information for birth mothers, and creates opportunities for engagement from waiting families, adoptive families, and donors.

Create a strong and compelling presence in all areas of social media including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and other emerging social media platforms.

Always seeking new avenues for the promotion of core audience as well as the acquisition of new audiences.

Measure and maximize SEO keyword efficacy.

In-Person Outreach

Create an outreach database that provides clear direction and reporting for all team members participating in outreach visits.

Communicate clearly with team members concerning outreach needs.

Track outreach printed material inventory and the resource outreach team.

Report outreach progress to the Executive Director.

Follow-up with Drop-offs and In-Person visits with the goal of these organizations becoming community partnerships.

Partner Communications

Regular communication with our existing community partners, offering resources, training workshops, and free adoption-information for their clients, volunteers, and staff.

Creating new connections with potential community partners through outreach efforts.

Attending training, conferences, galas, and community events held by our partners.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on panels, webinars, presentations, workshops, and speaking events to advocate for adoption in the community.

Performance Measurements:

This position will be measured by the number of new community partnerships and birth mothers referred to Choice due to outreach efforts.

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree and experience in a related field.

Experience:

2 year of hands-on experience in marketing, design, and digital media.

2 year of experience coordinating and managing program schedule and execution.

Demonstrated fluency and engagement with all leading social media platforms.

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal skill and an ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment.

Strong computer skills with demonstrated abilities with applicable programs.

Ability to thrive in a fast paced, results oriented environment.

Enthusiasm for learning new systems, process and platforms.

Ability to report and communicate with the Executive Director in all areas of responsibility.

Compensation:

The duties outlined in this job description are not all inclusive and additional duties and tasks will be assigned as required.

Fair Labor Standards Classification:

Choice is an equal employment provider

Part time position (15-25 hours per week)

Hourly compensation is $21-25 an hour based on skills and experience

Eligible for paid vacation and sick time if working 20 hours a week

A voluntary retirement plan is offered after 24 months of continuous employment with a 3% employer matching benefit.
