Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Banquet Manager to join our team. As a Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Duties: - Manage and coordinate all banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings - Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring they are properly arranged and decorated according to client specifications - Supervise banquet staff, providing guidance and training as needed - Ensure that all food and beverage offerings meet quality standards and are delivered in a timely manner - Collaborate with the culinary team to create customized menus for clients - Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, ordering additional items as needed - Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner - Conduct regular inspections of banquet areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety regulations - Assist in the development of marketing strategies to promote banquet services Qualifications: - Previous experience in shift management within the hospitality industry - Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures - Proficient in coffee preparation techniques - Excellent food service management skills, including knowledge of food safety regulations - Ability to cook and prepare a variety of dishes - Bartending experience is preferred but not required - Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service principles - Experience conducting interviews and hiring banquet staff - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills We offer competitive pay based on experience along with benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
