Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior IT Data Assistant to be the first point of contact for internal employees in need of IT services. As a fast learner, you will provide exceptional support to end-users, resolving inquiries and incidents while maintaining detailed documentation.

This role involves identifying, researching, and resolving or escalating software and hardware incidents. The ideal candidate should possess strong PC support skills, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for IT.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, including the chance to gain expertise in NetSuite, Klaviyo, and Social Media platforms.

You will not be confined to just opening and closing tickets; instead, you'll interact with staff and contribute solutions and ideas to management and the executive team.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems, including workstations, printers, barcode scanners, Wi-Fi, and other related systems.

• Provide operational support for end-users, assisting with hardware/software issues, printing, connectivity, and other IT-related matters as they arise.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors and support technicians to promptly resolve or escalate issues.

• Set up and maintain user accounts in a Microsoft Active Directory environment along with managing email mailboxes with Office 365, assisting with password resets and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for end-user training, helpdesk ticketing, and project status updates.

• Cross-train to ensure smooth continuity of service.

• Lead, execute, and complete projects as directed by management.

• Assist with troubleshooting issues and working on projects related to our ERP system (NetSuite).

• Support email marketing tools and participate in routine maintenance of our website and social media platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science or a related IT field, or working towards completing a related degree.

• Proficiency with Microsoft platforms, including intermediate Excel skills.

• Preferred experience with basic HTML for website maintenance.

• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and ability to multitask effectively.

• Professionalism and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

• Self-starter with the capability to work independently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to work flexible hours during system upgrades, including weekends.
