Overview

The Livestream Technician at Community Baptist Church focuses primarily on assisting the church to achieve its mission and vision by running the worship service livestream production. The Livestream Producer will work with the Senior Pastor, Minister of Music, and Marketing & Communication Director to produce a weekly live stream production on Sunday mornings. This role involves ensuring all files and programs are prepared prior to the live stream, as well as coordinating a seamless live stream production. The Livestream Producer will assist with all audio/visual aspects of the production.

This is a 3-hour per week part-time position.

• Show character traits needed to work with the public, the staff, and the congregation, such aspatience, kindness, and gentleness, and hold in confidence all sensitive information (meetingdiscussions, personnel files, health care information etc.)
• Have a willingness to work closely with the pastors, church leaders, and the staff Ministry Team to carry out the goals and vision of the Community Baptist Church.

Skills/Qualifications

• Experience in live video/streaming production environment is a plus.
• Ability to adapt and react quickly to changes.
• Work side by side with the current tech volunteers and church leadership.
• Capability of identifying various audio and video issues.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrate proficiency in technical concepts and related processes, with familiarity of livestreaming processes, software, and hardware.
• Proficient with recording and editing equipment and software for live-streaming
• and videos, specifically ProPresenter, YouTube Studio, and Livestream.
• Proficient with mixing sound for house and stream, specifically on Behringer X32 digital soundboard.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare files, scenes, and streaming protocol before the live stream.
• Troubleshoot video and audio streaming systems.
• Proactively monitor and manage production systems.
• Take cues and plan scene changes based on the order of worship.
• Run the live-stream (includes scheduling live streams, ending live streams, switching camera angles, monitoring the video and audio feed, etc.).
• Monitor and upkeep of livestreaming equipment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $150.00 per week

Expected hours: 3 per week

Schedule:

• Morning shift
• Weekends only
